Here is my Utopia project from quarter one:
Reflection: I am very proud of my Utopian society project. While most people made a 2D drawing, Abigail and I made a 3D model with clay figurines. I also went above and beyond with my Utopian society essay by involving a narrative and another language. I really enjoyed this project because it was fun, while still being educational. My group did a lot of hands on things, but also did research. Overall, I am very proud of this project.
Here is my world geography wrap-up for Africa in quarter two:
Reflection: I chose this piece because I think I really demonstrated my knowledge of Africa with it. I was very thorough with my explanations, and I think that I presented nicely. One thing I could have done differently to make it more fun would be to make an interactive powerpoint instead of a google slides. Or, I could have done prezi, but I decided to do something different this time. Something that I would like to try for a world geography wrap-up in the future is a thinglink. I have not tried a thinglink yet even though I think they are very fun and interactive. Overall, I am pleased with this world geography wrap-up, but will try to make it interactive next time.
Quarter 3 Japan Juxtaposition:
I am proud of this project because I was able to use my artistic skills to symbolize Japan. I also learned a lot about Japan's geography in this project. For example, I learned that Japan was prone to many natural disasters. Overall, I am pleased with this project.
Quarter 4:
Reflection: I chose this piece because I think I made this article sound intriguing, and I used evidence. I also think that I made it look very visually appealing. I think my patience and attention to detail helped me to make this look nice. I also like that I thought of doing an article inspired by NASA's website. All things considered, I am proud of this piece.
